Exciting Times & New Events!

So I’ve been slightly M.I.A. due to busy schedule and traveling. Nonetheless, there’s exciting new opportunities coming up! I have class/workshop scheduled at local places around my town. Stay tune for more details – will finalize sometime this week! ALSO, I have a new crafting calendar with weekly/monthly updates on this blog.

In case you haven’t heard, Stampin’ Up! is coming out with the new catalog! I’m super excited!!! However, I’m also super sad about a few things that will retire soon.04.15.19_SHAREABLE_RETIRING_LIST_NA

My absolute favorite stamps: Petal Palette, Ribbon of Courage, Apron of Love, & Baby Bear. I’ll definitely have to make some posting of these before they’re gone forever. The retirement will be final on May 31. I’d highly advise you to take the opportunity while you can before they’re all sold out and/or permanently gone! If you purchase, please use my HOST CODE: 4YBYEQP6 so that I’d be notified and be able to send you a thank you surprise in the mail!

I do have one sad news: my YouTube is having some hiccups. I’m having camera/video editing issues. I know I only have 2 videos so far. I’m not a tech person, so trying to solve these problems as best as I can. Please stay tune!

Paper Pumpkin – New Kit!

Stampin’ Up! is really stepping up their game in their Paper Pumpkin, a monthly creative kit! I’m super happy to see all the exciting new idea they’re coming up with! I used to not like Paper Pumpkin because they odd paper projects that were not very attractive to me. However, lately (since last fall), I really enjoy what they’re coming out with! So I jumped aboard and am a subscriber now. I super love my kits! And they’re good for travel on the go!

From now until May 10th, the Shelli kit will be available, if you sign up within the giving time frame. This will be their May kit to create 12 beautiful cards. I’m super excited! Here’s a video for preview:

I saw a few samples and they look absolutely gorgeous! Can’t wait for my kit to come! Paper Pumpkin is also great for those who likes crafting but doesn’t have a lot of time to create. The kits are all inclusive, so no need to go shopping for all the various items. Plus, the projects are very straight forward and comes with instructions!

There are 4 different Paper Pumpkin subscription types: monthly, quarterly, 6 months, & annually. Many people like to do the monthly subscription to try out,  but since each kit is different every month, most end up bumping to quarterly or 6 months subscription to get a fuller Paper Pumpkin experience. If you saw a preview of the kit and didn’t like it, you’re welcome to skip that month and apply your fee to the following month’s kit.

I’d be happy to answer any of your questions. If you decide to purchase from me, please use

Tropical Chic: Thank You

I had posted this card on my Instagram previously:I still love this stamp set from Stampin’ Up! ever since it came out in the last annual catalog. I really like tropical plants and this totally won me over when I saw it. I had stamped and die cut a bunch of leaves in various colors. In fact, I went over board and had cut out so many, now I have plenty of tropical leaves for future projects!

For this card, I decided to keep it simple. I wanted the focus to be the die cuts and sentiment. So I embossed a corrugated background I the same color as my card backing and lay over the leaves and sentiments on top. You can’t see it in the picture, but the stamped sentiment has clear bossing to give some texture to the font. Lastly, I added some clear drops for embellishments.
