It’s not even March and I’m already on my third trip! This time, just back to the Great Mitten State, Michigan, for a bit to take care of a few things and to visit my family. (I haven’t seen them since Thanksgiving!) It’s hard to keep crafting when I’m busy packing/unpacking for/from trips. Nonetheless, my memory planner is getting caught up to date; hoping to do some of those posts soon.
Meanwhile, I took out my Cricut Air 2 and had some fun. I didn’t have the energy to create via stamping, so I decided to take out my cutter and have some fun making 3D cards. 3D projects are getting more an more popular as the Cricut and Silhouette very available in the market. I purchased this Back to School Box Cards SVG Kit from SVGCUTS a while back and decided that it’s time to put it to good use.
I only used the main apple card frame, leaf, and center panel. All the cardstock and pattern papers are from what I had in my stash. This card can stand perfectly by itself. On the back of the card, I put a blank white panel for personal message space. Also, it folds perfectly flat and fits perfectly inside a 5×7″ envelope. (Note: The cut file does provide an envelope cut, in case you want to make your own envelope)
