Valentine Mode: On

I started making a lot of Valentine cards as requests are coming in. Just for fun, I’ve also played along with MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 421. I used the Heart Shaker Window Die & Heart Shaker Pouches for the interactive element with a sequin mixture from my stash. The sentiment is from From the Heart Stamp Set (one of my “go to” stamp set).

I love making shaker cards! So much fun and interactive! There will be more valentine cards coming up as it is just around the corner!

Other Things I Used:
Crepe Paper
.25″ Scor-Tape
Tombow Adhesive Tape
Gansai Tambi Watercolors
Heart Craft Gems
Hero Arts White Embossing Powder

Ninja-mazing!

Super exciting news to share: I’ve won the MFT Sketch Challenge #367!!! I’ve never won any challenges before. This was such a pleasant surprise. I was checking my email and saw a gift card from MFT and was all confused, thinking “it’s not my birthday…” But I’m super happy because MFT is one of my top favorite stamping companies!

I posted my card for this challenge on my Instagram:

Stamps: MFT Ninja-mazing
Dies: MFT Ninja-mazing, MFT Heart Shaker Window & Frame
Other Tools: Radiating Rays Stencil, Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste, Wink of Stella Brush – Clear, ZIG Watercolor Brush Pens

Adorable Valentine

Did some cleaning of the craft room this morning and I found some valentine paper I bought last year. I forgot how super cute these were, so I put them to good use!

(Sorry for the lighting, I made these cards out of a random crafty burst. So I didn’t have my lighting set up right for photos.) The card design is nothing complicated. I wanted the focus to be the cute pattern patter and kept everything else simple.  I die cut some stitched frames to draw even more attention to the center. Lastly, I added some white and morning dew nuvo drops for dimensions.

This tomato is my favorite! I showed my fiancé this card and he loved it! Looking forward to making more valentine cards!
